CymCity Orchids

Cym City Nursery is located 3 miles north of Reedley, California (about 30 minutes S/E of Fresno). We are nestled in the heart of California's Agriculture, near the base of the Sierra Foothills and Fresno County's famous Blossom Trail. Our 4,000 SF Orchid Structure is still under construction and when complete will house our inventory of several thousand cymbidium plants. Fresh Cut Flowers are available seasonally to the local market (varies year to year).

Cym City Nursery is a 'Hobby Farm' owned and operated by George and Jennie Heaton during off hours from other full time jobs. We are affiliated with various Orchid Societies and Garden Groups.

George is employed as a Horticulturist in the Environmental Horticulture Department at Reedley College for the past 28 years where he manages 4 acres which includes 3 Greenhouses, Nursery, Arboretum and the Community Vegetable Garden. He is also active with Fresno County's local Cooperative Extension where he occasionally teaches workshops and speaks on gardening topics.

Jennie works as an Office Manager for a Patent and IP Attorney in Fresno. She has also worked on and off in the Nursery, Florist and Landscape fields over the past 25 years.

In the future, we will be offering a variety of Flowering and Landscape Trees for the 'Blossom Trail' Travelers, Rare and Unusual Plants and Seasonal Fresh Cut Flowers from our Cut Flower Farm. Available Plants for Sale

In addition, we offer Seasonal Fresh Produce and Brown Eggs from 'Happy' Free Ranging Chickens. DBO Ranch
